2026-2027 Academic Internship

Thank you for your interest in the Transom Bookshop Retail Internship program. More than a bookseller gig, you’ll learn the mechanics of small business management, publishing operations and fundamentals, retail management, and the magic of connecting readers to a book they’ll love. Sarah Lawrence College students will have the option to apply for credit, as this is a “teaching internship” that includes tangible learning outcomes demonstrated through project deliverables.
